SFF Inclement
Weather Policy |

| In
the case of snow, ice or other such situation, SFF will take the following
actions. |

| 1.
WRAL will be notified if we are cancelling or posphoning an SFF event.
You can check on closings at the WRAL website http://www.wral.com/weather/closings 2. SFF will send an email message to all email subscribers. 3. If possible, the SFF website will be revised to indicate any changes to the schedule. |

We will post any cancellations on WRAL by 3:00 PM the day of the scheduled lecture. |
||||||
| Rescheduled Lectures |
||||||
| If
possible, lectures will be rescheduled for the next evening (Friday),
providing that the UUFR room is available. Rescheduling information will be posted on the SFF website and another email message will be sent out to our email subscribers containing the rescheduling information. |

||||||
Private
Sessions or Readings |
||||||
If you
have scheduled a private reading or session with our speaker, SFF will
attempt to contact you by phone and/or email to let you know of any changes
to the session schedule. |
||||||
Workshops |
||||||
If a workshop
was scheduled for the Saturday or Sunday following a lecture, it will
probably be held as scheduled. If the severe weather event and bad road
conditions continue through Friday afternoon, please check the SFF website
for updated information on the workshop. |

| If
you must drive in snow or ice, PLEASE drive carefully and slowly. Remember
that your brakes will not stop you on ice. |
